THE UK WOODEN SURFBOARD TOUR

Funding - This project is being funded by those who will ride the board

To make this project happen, we have estimated that we initially need to raise £1,200.

Once the equivalent of NZ$1,450 (£575) plus the shipping costs (£400) have been raised we will ask
Roy Stewart to finish manufacturing and arrange shipment of the board whilst continuing to raise money for other elements of the budget.

Please note that within the first two weeks of initially discussing this project we already had pledges of well over £800. However at that stage we did not collect any money as we wanted to assess the complete logistics and feasibility of the project.

How to Contribute

Send an e-mail  to info@woodensurfboard.co.uk and stating how much you wish to contribute and your contact details. We will arrange for a payment request to be sent to you via paypal.

Guarantee

If we fail to reach the target funds before August, we propose to return all money collected (less any paypal charges) to donors.

Once the board’s construction has started we will continue our fund raising activities to cover the shipping costs associated with the board. If for any reason we can not raise the funds to ship the board to the UK (within a 12 month period) we will refund all monies left in the pot on a pro-rota basis to donors

All donors will be e-mailed regular updates of tour as it develops and will be given contact details for the local custodian of the board in their area.

Any excess money raised will be used to fund the boards travel around the UK and Ireland, we anticipate that some fund raising activities may continue whilst the board is in the UK to fund its travel and to cover promotional costs.
